Smoked Tea: An Aromatic Journey
Smoked teas, a unique category of black teas, are mainly produced in
the Fujian Province in China. Their distinct manufacturing process,
which includes a smoking step after the tea leaves oxidation, is a
key feature. This process gives tea deep and distinguished aromas,
often described as woody, reminiscent of wood fire or pine, thanks to
traditional pine wood or cypress for smoking.
Discover our
curated collection. The Lapsang Souchong Bio, with its large leaves
smoked with pine wood, and the Demi-Fumé, where a smoked Chinese tea
meets a Georgian black tea, invite you to an unforgettable sensory
escape at the first sip. Our homemade Yan Xun Bio boldly merges the
Chinese smoked tea nuances with the vegetal notes of Rwandan green
tea.
